A new low-cost Blackhawk emulator is now available optimized for C2000 controller development. The BH-USB2000 is available at only 279 EUR, bundled with Code Composer Studio at 649 EUR (as of January 2008). We are proud to announce that we will represent Boundary Scan Solutions from California based Corelis, Inc. as of now. Corelis offers a complete product line of JTAG (boundary-scan) tools called ScanExpress for interconnect testing and JTAG in-system programming of flash memories and CPLDs. An easy-to-use Windows Graphical User Interface is supplied for all of the tools. Also supplied is a DLL interface for seamless integration with other test programs such as National Instruments' LabView, LabWindows/CVI, TestStand, Geotest ATEasy, Agilent's VEE, or Visual Basic, and C++.

Bayer DSP Solutions has donated 15 so-called BoeBots to a local high-school in Duesseldorf (www.lgbk.de). BoeBots are educational robots which are based on BasicStamp micro-computers from Parallax, Inc. of Rocklin, CA.

A Noise Cancellation algorithm for Blackfin processors is now available from Bayer DSP Solutions. The algorithm can be used in noisy environment to create clear speech in open-air intercoms, handfree applications and more.

We have completed the implementation of the sideband ADPCM speech codec according to ITU-T G.722 for Blackfin platforms. The code is available in object form for Analog Devices' VisualDSP IDE.

The brandnew Blackhawk LAN/USB emulator "BH-LAN560" from EWA is now available. It features full networking capability, i.e. the system can run on a hub/switch without the need of a local PC.

We can now offer an implementation of the ITU-T G.726 ADPCM speech codec for Blackfin DSP. This codec features bitrates of 16, 24, 32 and 40kbps and has a particularly small memory footprint. Typically this algorithm is used in DECT systems, multi-channel voice recording, channel duplication in ISDN etc.


August 11th, 2004

We can now offer an implementation of the ITU-T G.722.2 adaptive multirate wideband speech codec for Blackfin DSP. This codec features bitrates of 6.6kbps up to 23.85kbps. Typical applications include Voice over IP (VoIP) and Mobile Communications, PSTN applications, ISDN wideband telephony, ISDN videotelephony and video-conferencing.

Bayer DSP Solutions offers a wavelet based image compression and decompression (WICodec) software that features both high quality image compression and low MIPS consumption. The algorithms are available as a compiled library for Analog Devices Blackfin DSP and PC. Typical applications include surveillance, archiving, toys etc.

Blackhawk's new PCI-JTAG emulator is now shipping. This high-performance emulator supports high-end and legacy DSP from Texas Instrument alike. Running in Windows 2k or XP it supports RTDX (realtime data exchange) and Advanced Event Triggering on DSP families supporting these features.

We have developed a DSP based internet radio which allows to received virtually any web radio channel delivering MP3 data at up to 128kbps. Currently the radio is available as a prototype but will become a product in the near future.
