Blackfin & Spartan 3E FPGA for uClinux on a stamp-size PCB

This little controller board is based on a Blackfin BF537 DSP controller and a Spartan3E FPGA. It is capable of running uClinux, has 32MBytes on-board SDRAM, 16 MBytes of serial flash, up to 33 I/O pins, a 100Mbps Ethernet port with on-board PHY and lots of applications to be used in.

qtsi_400pxDual-core Blackfin with 64Mbytes SDRAM, Altera CPLD and low-power Atmel AVR32 Micro-Controller

A powerful combination of DSP, micro-controller and logic with tons of memory for image processing and other general purpose signal processing tasks. Up to 1200 MIPS from the DSP are available to crunch data residing in 64MBytes of SDRAM while 32Mbits of data in a serial flash can store program and configuration data. Numerous I/O pins from the CPLD , the micro-controller and the DSP are available at two high-density connectors with a total 76 pins. The size of this module is 100x57mm (3.9"x2.2").

 

Devices on this piece of multi-purpose hardware include an ADSP-BF561 (dual-core Blackfin), an Altera EPM1270 (980 macro-cell equivalent CPLD), an Atmel AVR32 with 256kBytes on-chip flash, a 32Mx16 SDRAM, a 32Mbit serial flash and a very low-power 1Mx16 static RAM. The DSP and the SDRAM can be shut off from the power supply by the AVR32 in order to reduce power consumption during low-perfomance operation (idling).

Multi-Core Blackfin module with up to 5300MIPS

Multi-core Blackfin module with up to 5300 MIPSA single BF537 with an Ethernet MAC, capable of running uClinux, controls four dual-core BF561’s producing an accumulated performance of up to 5300 MIPS. With a size of only 1" x 3.75", the board is designed to fit standard carrier boards, such as PCI, PCIx or eurocards (160x100mm).

The BF537 is clocked at 500MHz and has 32 Mbytes private SDRAM (125 MHz) to suit the requirements of an operating system (uClinux) while each BF561 has 8 Mbytes of private SDRAM (133 MHz). The board can boot via TFTP over the network and load application software individually to each of the BF561 cores. Alternatively, the board can be booted from an on-board serial flash which makes it independent of any host system.
A single 3 Volt 2 Amps rail is required, where the supply voltage also determines the I/O voltage.

Module with TMS320DM642 and ARM7DSP Module w/ TMS320DM642 & 200K Spartan3 FPGA for Video Applications

This DSP Module is the most powerful sub-system in our standard footprint range of products. Based on a DM642 multimedia DSP from Texas Instruments clocked at up to 600 MHz, accompanied by a Xilinx Spartan3-FPGA, this hardware provides all the flexibility and computational power required in multi media processing , especially in image and video compression.
Many I/O ports are available at the connectors, many of which are capable of the LVDS standard. A version for the extended temperature range is available on request.

Module with Blackfin BF532 or BF533, SDRAM and dual UARTDSP Module w/ Blackfin BF532/533 for Audio Applications

This DSP Module is flexible sub-system in our standard footprint range of products, based on a BF532 or BF533 Blackfin processor from Analog Devices clocked at 400/600/756MHz respectively. It comes equipped with a CPLD for flexible I/O handling and a 2-channel audio codec for speech applications. SDRAM of up to 16 MByte is optional.

Module with TMS320VC33 DSP, SRAM and FlashDSP Controller Board w/ Texas Instruments TMS320VC33

This module named "VC33modU" comes with a 2-channel UART, a low-power CPLD, 2 MByte low-power SRAM and 2 MByte flash ROM. It is based on a 60/75 MIPS TI TMS320VC33 Floating Point DSP and has a customer programmable Host/GPIO interface implemented in a 128 macrocell Coolrunner CPLD.
